House Clestos is a powerful noble family whose fief, Seperu, encompasses the entire Southern Horn of Twin March. The Southern Horn is a large, resource-rich peninsula capable of supporting multiple towns, along with the great city of Clestos. While House Clestos was once confined to the far south, they expanded their control through hostile takeover, ultimately consolidating the whole horn under their rule.
Their expansion came at the expense of neighbouring northern fiefs, which historically served as defensive buffer lands from previously untamed Twin March but were comparatively poorer and sparsely resourced. During a period of internal stability and martial law, House Clestos absorbed these territories, extinguishing rival bloodlines and securing uncontested control of the peninsula.
Today, House Clestos is wealthy, influential, and firmly entrenched within Twin March. Official records describe their rise as lawful consolidation. Unofficial accounts suggest far less orderly methods. Few within the country openly contest their claim to Seperu.
